Our recycling process takes your used absorbents, personal protective equipment (PPE), and dirty storage drums back to our facility to clean them for recycling and reuse. Oil is extracted from the absorbents. It is transported by an EPA approved oil recycler to a refinery.
The oil is recycled as asphalt, low-grade oil for heating, or becomes fuel for cement kilns.
Once the collection drums are emptied, they are steam cleaned.
They are then reconditioned to DOT specifications for reuse.
After the oil is extracted, the absorbent mats are laundered through our proprietary process.
