On the Road to Impact: A Day in the Life of CLR’sCustomer Service Reps

Uncategorized
CLR Driver Image

At Closed Loop Recycling (CLR), sustainability doesn’t just happen in the warehouse—it happens mile by mile, stop by stop, and drum by drum. That’s thanks to our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs): the people behind the wheel, behind the pickups, and behind the relationships we’ve built with manufacturers across the country.

These aren’t just delivery drivers. They’re route strategists, logistics communicators, and everyday environmental changemakers.

Efficiency, the CLR Way

Every route is planned with efficiency in mind, helping us minimize fuel consumption, reduce idle time, and stay ahead of schedule. These aren’t one-size-fits-all delivery loops—they’re tailored to customer needs, product volumes, and the unique rhythms of industrial facilities.

And when you’re managing heavy 55-gallon drums of oil-soaked PPE and absorbents, smart routing isn’t just nice—it’s necessary. It means fewer wasted miles, better time at each stop, and a smoother day for everyone involved. And at the end of the day, our CSRs get a three-day weekend.

The Face of CLR, Everywhere We Go

From bustling factories in Missouri to sprawling plants in Indiana, and warehouses in Nevada, our CSRs are the face of CLR. They’re the ones shaking hands, swapping full drums for fresh mats, answering questions, and ensuring every client feels confident in the service they’re getting.

While our headquarters and facilities power the engine, it’s the CSRs who keep it running in the real world. They’re known by name. They build trust. And they represent our values every time they roll up to a dock.

Legendary service isn’t just something we promise—it’s something our CSRs deliver week in and week out.

A Mobile Mission to Reduce Waste

Every full drum loaded onto a truck is one step closer to reducing landfill waste. Instead of tossing used absorbents, we launder them. Instead of discarding oil, we recycle it. Instead of trashing collection drums, we reuse them.

Our CSRs are hauling sustainability forward—picking up materials others consider waste and setting them on a path to new life. They’re essential to the closed-loop system that defines who we are.

And when a customer sees that drum disappear and a clean one take its place, they’re seeing more than a delivery; they’re witnessing a tangible part of their own environmental goals being met. That connection? It starts with our reps.

Why It Matters

In a world where sustainability can feel like a buzzword, CLR lives it—and our CSRs are the proof. They bridge the gap between what we promise and what we deliver. They keep our process moving. And they do it with grit, pride, and a deep understanding of what it means to serve others.

We don’t just drive to deliver—we drive to make a difference.
