Advancing Workplace Safety and Sustainability: Closed Loop Recycling’s Collaboration with NSC
Closed Loop Recycling is proud to collaborate with the National Safety Council (NSC) and Safety and Health Magazine in promoting workplace safety and sustainability. In this collaboration, our Vice President of Environmental Operations, Eric Minder, offers valuable insights on the key factors to consider when selecting the most suitable and sustainable absorbents for spill containment. Efficient spill containment and cleanup is essential to a safe workplace which is one of NSC’s initiatives.
Eric Minder had the opportunity to write for NSC, providing information from our area of expertise– absorbents. Eric is a professional engineer with over 35 years of experience, and he brings a wealth of expertise across multiple disciplines, including regulatory agencies, civil engineering consulting, heavy manufacturing, and environmental health and safety (EHS). In his current position as Vice President of Environmental Operations at Closed Loop Recycling, LLC, Mr. Minder is tasked with R&D and regulatory compliance, as well as financial and business development support.
The NSC’s mission is to equip workers with the tools they need to understand and mitigate workplace risks. By leveraging research, they drive improvements in safety programs with practical training and resources. We are proud to have the opportunity to share Eric’s knowledge of absorbents and spill containment solutions through this collaboration. Being recognized by the NSC for our products and services is a significant milestone for Closed Loop Recycling, and we remain committed to advancing safe, sustainable, and green workplaces.
