absorbent solutions

We’re proud to announce that we’ve opened a new recycling center in Houston. Find out where you can find our new recycling center, what services we offer the Houston area, and what sets Closed Loop apart from other companies.

Our New Houston Recycling Center

Closed Loop Recycling is excited to announce the opening of a new Houston recycling center, conveniently located at X. This newly built, full-production facility will improve the impact of our clients’ Zero Landfill initiatives in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas.

What Does Closed Loop Do?

Closed Loop Recycling offers environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions that can save any business money. We currently offer two core services:

Reusable Absorbents

We offer reusable absorbent mats, towels, and rags that keep your business oil free. If you deal with liquid waste, our absorbents can help. We have options that can cover any need, whether you’re dealing with industrial-level oils or simple kitchen grease.

What sets us apart from a regular absorbent mat seller is that we’ll launder your mats when they aren’t doing the job anymore. Our cutting-edge laundering processes make sure your mats are returned to your facility as good as new. We accomplish this level of quality with our revolutionary minimal liquid discharge (MLD) service. Our MLD service separates your oils from our cleaning liquids and makes sure all of the liquids are recycled and reused. This advanced recycling program helps you meet your green initiatives, save money on mats, and minimize environmental impact.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Laundering

Our second core service is our PPE laundering. A massive amount of PPE gets thrown away just because it’s dirty. While your PPE may look filthy, there’s a good chance it’s actually in great condition. That’s why we offer laundering services that refresh PPE in Houston so it’s as good as new. PPE we launder includes:

  • Gloves
  • Sleeves
  • Aprons
  • Jackets
  • Safety Vests

Our PPE laundering process is thorough and keeps your equipment usable much longer. For proof of our PPE recycling program, check out our testimonials. Otherwise, we encourage you to come by our Houston recycling center and see the process for yourself!

We’re proud of our process and the stellar condition of our clients’ PPE when we return it to them. Transform your PPE today with our laundering service.

Why Choose Closed Loop?

Still doubting whether our Houston recycling center is the right solution for you? Don’t worry—we put together this list of reasons why Closed Loop is the perfect solution for your Houston recycling needs:

We Have a Mat for That

  • Need to clean up thick automotive oils in your auto repair shop?
  • Dealing with spills around machinery and walkways?
  • Mopping up constant leaks at your oil field or gas rig?

We have a mat for that! Our oil-absorbent mats can deal with spills of any size and substance. If you have liquid troubles, we have a mat to solve them.

Cost Effectiveness

While PPE costs may not seem high now, they add up over time. Between gloves, aprons, vests, sleeves, and more, you could be spending up to $10,000 annually on new PPE. The worst part is that most of the PPE you’re throwing out is probably in great condition outside of being dirty. Our laundering services cut down your PPE costs. We’ll get you high quality without the high cost.

Environmentally Friendly Services

We’re happy to say we’ve reused over 2 million pounds of solid waste and over 300,000 gallons of liquid waste. This waste would have gone in a landfill, incinerator, or the ocean if Closed Loop didn’t step in. We all have a responsibility to work towards a more sustainable society. Reducing waste is one the most important ways to do that. Do your part by partnering with our Houston recycling center.

Detailed Reporting

We offer comprehensive and customizable reporting. These reports cover every service our Houston recycling center provides. There are three main reports we create for our clients:

  • PPE Processing – This report includes figures like the amount of PPE you laundered and what percentage of your PPE was unsalvageable.
  • Sustainability Report – Our sustainability report covers the amount of solid and liquid waste you’ve diverted from a landfill or incineration center.
  • Station-by-Station – The station-by-station report tracks how much absorbent is refilled at each station per service, helping you track usage throughout the facility.

  • Aerospace
  • Manufacturing
  • Automotive

  • Metal Stamping
  • Metal and Plastic Fabrication
