It was another record-breaking year for the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), which took place Sept. 10, 2018, through Sept. 15, 2018, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Il. With 129, 415 registrations and 1, 424, 232 sq. ft. of exhibit space, IMTS was a huge success thanks to the fast growth of digital technology and automation.
IMTS 2018 Set Records
“IMTS 2018 set records because manufacturing technology has grown exponentially since last show,” says Peter R. Eelman, Vice President – Exhibitions & Business Development at AMT-The Association For Manufacturing Technology, which owns and produces IMTS. “The rapid growth of digital technology, automation, and additive manufacturing are especially driving interest. The booming manufacturing economy means visitors have capital and are ready to invest.”
Visitors at Closed Loop Recycling’s booth learned about our PPE, absorbent, and wiper laundering programs, as well as our custom Sustainability Reports.
These reports show the amount of solid and liquid waste diverted from landfill or incineration. We provide these reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, helping companies achieve their ISO 14001 certification.
We also offered our FREE cost savings calculator to visitors. This useful tool helps companies determine their cost savings based on the types of waste disposal used (incineration or special waste) and how much products are used a year.
And for those visitors who already had a recycling program or were looking to save money, we offered a competitive bid, as well as a FREE TRIAL on PPE, absorbents, and wipers. This non-risk, free trial will put our process to the test and guarantee satisfaction for our first-time users!
“IMTS was a great show for CLR to showcase all of our cost-saving recycling solutions to the industry”, General Manager, Jon Chisholm said. “We are looking forward to helping all the IMTS attendees that stopped by our booth achieve their green initiatives and save money by switching to our programs.”
With great exhibitors, services, and tons of walking, IMTS 2018 was another success for Closed Loop Recycling. IMTS is over for now, but we look forward to helping more companies think outside the drum.
